This little off beat gem really surprised me. Fun, family driven, and heart felt like Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, Hotel New Hampshire, and any Woodie Allen flick. Quirky and rich with characters played by amazing actors, this memoir based movie is what American Filmmaking should be. Original, challenging, and so real like a good Rosanne episode... coming of age for every character in the film... every character I ended up cheering for and hating in the same movie, that's pretty unusual and I liked it.
Grade: With an easy A... for originality, guts to pull off, and great acting.
Age: Adults, but I'd let a mature high school kid watch it.
